Lets Talk Stocks!

Join us for a lively investor education workshop on Saturday, April 9. Ken Kavula, popular speaker and leader in the BetterInvesting community will share what he terms “good, common sense investing.” Kavula, chairman of the BetterInvesting Volunteer Advisory Board and long time officer in the Mid-Michigan Chapter, is a retired educator. He is a member of four investment clubs and is a dynamic instructor noted for his high energy along with his inspirational and entertaining style. A popular instructor at the BI national convention, Kavula teaches extensively within his chapter and offers many programs to BetterInvesting chapters throughout the country.

The Kansas City Chapter of BetterInvesting will present an Investor Education Workshop on April 9, 2011 at KU Edwards Campus, Regnier Hall 153, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Seminar will provide information to assist investors in making investment decisions in the current market and in longer term planning, and will provide guidelines for portfolio management. The program will feature Ken Kavula, chairman of the BetterInvesting Volunteer Advisory Board. Door prizes to be given during the session will include The Snowball, a book about Warren Buffett. Cost for the Workshop will be $35.00 for NAIC/BI members and $40.00 for non-members.

Registration at the door will be $45.00. A box lunch is included with the registration fee.
