Investing Round Table (September 2025) With "The Campfire Discussions"

6PM to 7 PM This quarter’s Campfire: Investing for a Successful Future A discussion of Thomas and David Babson’s ground-breaking book from 6PM to 7 PM, EDT

Thomas and David Babson’s “Investing for a Successful Future” will serve as a launchpad for our panel’s discussion of the origins and evolution of growth investing. Joining Mark and Ken on our panel will be Craig Braemer, a recently retired financial professional from the BetterInvesting San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and Kevin Gillogly, a political consultant from the BetterInvesting Maryland Chapter.

This new program will be offered quarterly before the Mid-Michigan Roundtable and will explore different topics about investing. We will be joined at the campfire by friends from the BetterInvesting community from across the country who will help us explore topics of interest to our audience.

7 PM to 8 PM, The Mid-Michigan Roundtable begins at 7 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

The Mid-Michigan Roundtable (RT), co-sponsored by Manifest Investing, has been going strong for almost 16 years. It begins with a brief discussion of the tracking portfolio which includes every single decision made by the RT over its history. We then feature three or four formal stock studies which our RT Knights and Damsels feel are current, interesting ideas to add to the portfolio. $1000 in RT money is added for each study and the audience decides on the addition of another $1000 to the stock they think has the best appreciation potential.

You only need a single registration for both events and then you can log in a few minutes before the appropriate starting time.

Quality Legend:
