Growth – What It Is and Why It’s Important?

“Growth” is one of the most used, and misused, words in an investor’s vocabulary. Join Cy as he explains just what growth is, and shows that it isn’t increases in earnings per share. We’ll also examine why distinctions between “growth” and “value” stocks are practically useless and often misleading. Then we will turn to why true growth is a long-term investor’s best friend and then examine ways to improve your growth projections on your Stock Selection Guide.

Show Me the Money – Focus on Total Return

Relative value, price zones and upside/downside ratios can be misleading at best and detrimental to your investing success at worst. Join Cy as he shows you how to maximize your return by focusing on projected total return both for individual stocks and your portfolio as a whole.

Portfolio Centered Decision Making

Not confident about the overall quality and potential return of your portfolio? Can’t decide which stock to buy more of? Not sure when you should sell a stock? In this class, Cy explains why it’s best to make portfolio management decisions by focusing on the potential impact on your overall portfolio, rather than just looking at a stock in isolation. He’ll then use practical examples to demonstrate how portfolio-centered decision-making can simplify your investment decisions and take emotion out of portfolio management, especially the dreaded decision to sell.

A buffet breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m. and the presentation is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon in the Timber Creek Ballroom at Sun City Roseville, 7050 Del Webb Boulevard, Roseville, CA 95747. The registration fee (which includes a full buffet breakfast) is $49 per person.
