We could have called this session “Exported From Beardstown” and we’re happy to launch this series from Springfield, that suburb of Beardstown when it comes to the modern investment club movement.

We truly believe that anyone can be a successful long-term investor and in the spirit of the Beardstown Ladies, we’ll show you how.

The session will feature a perspective on the history of success and the focus on return forecasts and quality in the role of stock analysis and portfolio design & management. We’ll perform portfolio review and analysis on a few real portfolios — seeking lessons learned and sharing how we stack the odds going forward. Ken and Mark will lead a “Two Guys Talk Stock” discussion where we discover and explore some of our favorites, including audience suggestions. Bring your favorite stock and we’ll take a look, together.
