The round table knights include small company champion and Mid-Michigan Director Ken Kavula; Cy (MythBuster) Lynch; pharmaceutical scientist Hugh McManus; and Manifest Investing's Mark Robertson who will analyze their favorite stocks. The team will be identifying companies positioned for strong performance and share some ideas about their potential.

The June 2023 Manifest Investing Roundtable featured Mark Robertson, Kim Butcher, Kevin Gillogly, and Ken Kavula analyzing stocks using the organization's fundamental analysis methodology. The presentation showcased the tracking portfolio's performance since 2010, which has achieved a 15.3% annual return compared to the Wilshire 5000's 10.5%, resulting in a 4.8% outperformance that exceeds the target of 5% and surpasses most active mutual funds. The portfolio includes approximately 90 positions, with notable performers including Costco (an 11-bagger from a single $1,000 investment) and Microsoft ($83,000 in total value from five $1,000 selections). The speakers emphasized that while some positions like Delex have underperformed, the overall portfolio demonstrates strong long-term fundamentals.

The primary stock analyzed in detail was Visa, presented as a rare buy-zone opportunity despite its status as a mature, well-known company. Visa, the world's largest retail electronic payments network, showed strong growth metrics with 11% projected sales growth and 12% earnings growth. The analysis utilized Value Line and Morningstar projections to support reasonable growth assumptions, while trend analysis of pre-tax profit and debt-to-capital ratios were characterized as consistent despite showing red flags on certain visual indicators. The presentation maintained the organization's educational focus, emphasizing that all analysis represents the speakers' opinions and interpretations of fundamental analysis methodologies refined over eight decades.
