This February 2023 Manifest Investing Roundtable event, hosted by Ken Kavula and Mark Robertson, focused on presenting the Golden Knight Awards recognizing the best stock selections and performance from the previous year. The roundtable, now in its 13th year, reviewed the portfolio's performance against the Wilshire 5000 benchmark and highlighted top selections including Ardelix, Greenbrick, Texas Roadhouse, and Fox Factory. The discussion emphasized the importance of identifying quality companies at reasonable prices, maintaining core and non-core holdings aligned with George Nicholson's investment principles, and aiming to beat the market by 5 percentage points with at least 60% accuracy in stock selections.

The event showcased various award categories including best selection of the year, best selection all-time, and highest market beat percentage. Ann Manning earned top honors for accuracy with a 70% market beat percentage by successfully picking three winners including Lineage and Houlihan Lokey. The presenters reinforced the roundtable's core mission of teaching individual investors to become independent stock analysts through real-time analysis of quality companies, while emphasizing that all recommendations are for educational purposes only and viewers should conduct their own due diligence before making investment decisions.
