Bull Sessions (7/21/2026)

16 Years of Round Table ... some highlights ... shopping for July session.

Mark Robertson, founder of Manifest Investing, hosted the July 21, 2026 Bull Sessions webinar alongside Ken Kavula from the Mid Michigan Champions Chapter and Matt Spielman from Houston. The session celebrated the 16th anniversary of the Investing Roundtable and the 6th anniversary of Bull Sessions. Robertson opened by sharing technical difficulties with a corrupted spreadsheet, setting an improvisational tone for the abbreviated presentation due to the Roundtable event scheduled for later that evening.

The webinar discussed current market conditions, noting that while the average stock forecasts approximately 9% returns against a long-term average of 8%, market breadth has been concerning with losers outweighing winners despite overall index gains. The speakers examined performance across widely-followed companies, observing that the Roundtable portfolio has underperformed relative to its 16-year history. Ken Kavula advocated for selling underperforming positions, specifically CBS Health and Cognizant Technology, citing the Rule of Five principle to improve portfolio performance.

The presentation included analysis of the Groundhog Challenge standings, highlighting Curtis Sears' narrow lead over previous leader Bill Griffith. The speakers noted the strong presence of celebrity investors in the top rankings and celebrated the Cowtown Investment Club's emergence into the top 25. Throughout the session, Robertson emphasized the value of collaborative investing and the modern investment club methodology that Manifest Investing champions.
